Virtually any application can make MRU (acronym for Most Recently Used) entries in your system, which are used to allow faster access to the recently used files. They are sometimes useful, but they can also reveal details about what you did on your computer, what documents you have opened, etcetera. This can be an important information source for prying eyes.
MRU-Blaster scans the entire system looking for these entries; then, it shows you a list, and offers you the option to delete those you don't want to keep.
